The San Francisco Sailing Company was created to fill a need that exists in San Francisco. We are a fun and friendly, customer oriented sailboat charter service.  We specialize in private yacht charters for up to 6 passengers. In the heart of the city, we sail the finest yachts and offer the best rates.

The convenient location at PIER 39 in San Francisco means they are easily accessible from anywhere and the Bay's best sailing is right outside our marina. We sail around Alcatraz every trip!

 

Private Charter: Lady J 34' Islander Sailboat

The Lady J is our strongest and most sailed boat. This Islander 34' was built primarily for seaworthiness. Built in Irvine California this boat was made for open ocean cruising, the previous owner lived aboard her as he cruised Mexico's Sea of Cortez for a decade.

Her large cockpit allows for extreme comfort. Six large adults can easily lounge about the cockpit soaking up the sun while taking in the world-renowned scenic beauty of the San Francisco Bay. Her large dodger provides protection from wind and sea spray creating a greenhouse effect. This means its always perfect weather under the dodger.

For those that enjoy a wet and wild bash through the bay but have friends and loved ones who enjoy a comfortable cruise in the sun, both types of passenger can be happy at the same time.

Sail Boat Charter: Lady J 34' Islander Sailboat for up to Six Guests
January - December: Daily Hourly Rental. Minimum Charter of 2 Hours

Recomended Attire:

• Layers are good, it often ranges from 55-85 degrees in the same trip. Tank tops and shorts are appropriate with pants, fleece, and windbreakers on top.

Footware:

• Tennis shoes with Non marking and rubber soles are encouraged. Some dress shoes may have to come off if they mark up the boat to much. For women: No sharp heels, stillettos and such are not allowed. Women should shy away from heels in general but short heels work as long as they are wide and soft.

 

Payment:

Your credit card will be charged the total amount of products and services selected at the time of booking. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Cards.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

This tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Cancellation and No Show Policy:

Cancellations within 48 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 48 hours are charged a minimum $25.00 per person administration fee. We charge 100% for No Shows. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, the full ticket price will be refunded.

Supplier and Tourcorp assume no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, weather, conditions of trails, roads, bays, oceans, rivers, airspace and any other conditions beyond control of Supplier, in addition to insufficient numbers of passengers.

Comfortable shoes, extra layer of warm clothing, hats, visors and sunglasses. Weather: Tour route or activity may be changed depending on local weather conditions. Gratuities and Souvenirs are not included.
